Storm brakes/track clamps are used to protect crane systems or machines on tracks from unexpected movements, such as storms.

VZFH-HVZ crane with lifting and positioning function/type does not touch the track during operation (especially high-speed cranes). Due to the track contact, there is no wear during the crane operation!
