The SHD7 type is a single pane spring pressure hydraulic brake designed to prevent faults, specifically for high-speed oscillation drives in wind turbines.
This brake provides high braking output and is designed to be directly installed on the gearbox that drives the train.
It provides high braking force to prevent malfunction and can also choose to provide active braking for starting operation (SHD7E).
The optional Wear and Center System (WACS) can automatically center the air gap and provide independent wear compensation (for ease of maintenance and lower cost).
